This move follows a challenging launch where players faced hitches and stuttering, which have marred the experience. "This will bring new features and tools to make the Zone an even better place," says GSC. Fans are excited, with many expressing optimism about improved stability and performance. However, engine updates can be painful for developers, and the stakes are high. In addition to the engine upgrade, GSC plans to introduce new night vision devices and rework stash loot, adding more depth. While the updates sound promising, their execution remains to be seen.
